Sara Temme

Creating Modern Heirlooms

Sewing at the age of seven, it came as no surprise that Sara Temme would one day
become a master in the trade. Sara graduated with honors from Oregon State University's
apparel design and merchandising program, focusing on technical patternmaking and
textile science. Her accomplishments made her an ideal candidate for the dressmaking
department at the Bridal Loft, where Sara was enthusiastically invited to join the family in
2007.
Sara's unabashed passion for fabric and attention to detail has made a mark on the
Portland bridal market. Her garments are well tailored and impeccably constructed, and
she still holds true to her philosophy: "What you wear needs to make you feel special and
comfortable in your own skin."
